    Default Your Construct-Bots Custom Creations

Hey with the Australian release of the construct bots, thought I'd start up a MOC thread. custom thread.

To start off I've made Fastlane and a pretty "meh", Fastlane made using Ironhide and a few parts from a second Ironhide set:

There's a little bit of parts forming involved with both of them. In Fastlane it's the cab of the car because the front wheels are attached to post that would normally connected to the figure's endoskeleton and act as a hinge.

    Cloudraker:

In Cloudraker it's the front part that the guns are attached to. You have to take the part off to transform the figure normally.

honestly, I am not too happy about this series. Turned out to be like Lego but less like transformers. The whole idea is quite children-trageted.

There's a whole thread reviewing the first wave here.

I'm glad someone thought of starting up this, as Hasbro mentioned that they wanted to have it included in the BotCon art competition next year (as there would be enough parts by then to create most characters).

    What does MOC stand for?
(so I can edit the title, as it looks like a sale thread, as MOC is better known for Mint On Card)

My Own Creation? It's commonly used by lego builders to describe custom builds. Interesting info about the art comp. The Transformers fb page was encouraging people to post their custom construct bots for a while too.

SMHF, I like your take on Fastlane and Cloudraker, it works really well for the characters I think.

Yeah, it's "My Own Creation", I think it applies here too. On that note I really hope that Hasbro adds more variation to the parts like the torso endoskeleton. With Hero Factory there's two different torso widths: wide and double wide.

I'd like to see Hasbro make a torso part minus the ball joint at the shoulders but add in the hexagon bar so you could clip in the smaller ball joints to create a swivel so the arms could fold behind the body in transformation.

Yeah, I'm not about to post my customs on FB, because my 4yo nephew will know I've got these, I've lost enough HF to him already!

I've modified the title to (hopefully) encourage others to start posting their creations here as well.

(I left out the MOC in the title, just in case MOC is a Lego-fan term, and I don't want to look like we were poaching it)

    Default Wheeljack mod

Robot mode. No real changes just the spoiler on the back.

The back is now the front visa versa... Hasbro really needs to design some new parts to stop all the cars looking like race cars or golf buggies. Instead of using the guns as guns I've plugged them in as exhaust pipes.
