Default BH Ultra Magnus leg swapping?

I own Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus and am disappointed he looks a tad shorter than First Edition Optimus Prime. For those collectors who also own the TF:Prime UM..
Do you think it is possible to perform a lower leg swap between the BH and Prime version of Ultra Magnus?

Prime UM appears to have longer lower legs and they form the back wheels in alt mode like the BH version. I know the colour is different but are the knee joints similar? Will clearance be a big issue for alt mode? Are the tyres and wheelwells a similar size? From looking at galleries on the web it all looks quite easy.

Not sure it'll work. From memory BH Magnus lays down on his back when he transforms into alt mode. TFP Magnus lies forward so you'd have to switch left and right legs everytime you transform him.

    Dammit.

    Thanks tho

EDIT: Just had another look at my BHUM (laugh I tells you!) and noticed it has 360 degree thigh swivels! I could rotate the thighs 180 degrees for truck transformation and this would mean the adopted TFPUM inner calf is now his outer calf. So do both sides of a TFPUM lower leg look the same?

    Yep. Possibly. Potentially.

I will try mock it up if I find the perfect images.

I have both, I will inspect them when I get a chance but I expect the following:

you might be able to swap the legs for the robot mode, they are likely the same size ball joint attachment.

it is extremely unlikely that you'll get the vehicle mode to work well due to the vehicles being entirely different in design and layout. there will be interference.

still, I'll have a look at mine and let you know what I think.

Thanks UM! I expect it to look a little strange Just the knee down to be swapped (they are both screwed on it looks).

If you're turning the thigh swivel 180° to reverse the legs, the wheels will end up between the legs, along the center line.

Correct! So either i swap those lower legs L for R and deal with the slanty ankles or change the wrap around wheel assembly to attach to the other side of the calf.

I am guessing I could gain 1cm in height in robot mode + make the BHUM remould more original if i can achieve this.
