Just spoke to the staff in Knox City. Apparently they have stopped putting SW on hold as the demand has exceeded their expected quantity.

The girl I spoke to said over twenty people had tried to reserve one.

They said that they were calling back everyone who had one on hold to tell them they would not be honouring it and it's just first come first served now.

thats terrible news... i was one of those people that had reserved one!

I rang Knox this morning and spoke to the manager, he assured me that all patrons who had one on hold or two. Would be able to pick it up on Wednesday or failing that Friday as it's on a mixed consignment pallet.

Called Highpoint TRU this morning, the girl on the other line didn't know when they were coming in only that it was this month, she also said that there was around 14 SW's incoming.

And no i wasn't rude :P

Parramatta: Couldn't get through on the phone, tried for a good 15 minutes and gave up.
Hurstville: Said they have sold out, no word if they are getting more.
Chatswood: Rang but got disconnected.
Bankstown: Said they may get it in stock anytime in the next two weeks.

And yeah, be polite, just because they don't know what you're talking about doesn't mean they are trying to screw you over. It's a low paying retail job give them a break.

Edit: Not to get anybodies hopes up, but my friend just secured a Soundwave for me from Chatswood. There may be more there but he can't be sure.

I has a soundwave. On my way out of the store they uncovered a couple and called me back in. Legends.
Be aware they are restricting sales to singles.
