I just collect 1 (the best interpretation of a 'classics') toy for each character as general rule. I really don't see the point in have 20 Optimuses, 100 Bumblebees and 5 Prowls. So I picked 'other'.
The era of the toy (G1, BW, Unicron Trilogy etc)
The toyline (Titanium, Alternators, Bot Shots etc)
It’s a new figure that pays homage to a pre-existing toy/character (G1, BW etc)
Love for a specific character (you want every Grimlock, Shockwave etc)
The toy/character appears in comics/cartoons/movies/games
The figure is rare and hard to come by
The figure is of sufficient quality and complexity
To complete specific sets (sub-groups, toylines etc)
