TFW are claiming that it is a TF4 figure, but the release date is February, which is way too early for a "Special" version of any TF4 toy.

We have that Generations toy that looks to be a "preview" figure coming, but the price of this one (about AU$85) would suggest something bigger.

It's either that Generations "preview" toy, or another Premium edition of an earlier figure just to start hyping up the consumers in the lead up to TF4.

The Japanese text (全身長約25センチのビッグサイズ!) is saying that it's a "big sized" at approx. 25cm. But... TF1 Leader Optimus Prime is 24cm and the ROTF Leader Optimus Prime mould is 27cm. So I'd say 25cm is fairly standard for a Leader Class figure, really. :/ And the price is actually good by Australian standards (considering we often pay about $90~100 for our Leaders). The silhouette looks like ROTF or DOTM Leader OP... but it's possibly just a "placeholder" silhouette and may not actually represent the final product.

So, we have JP text that states 25cm, Item Details that list it at 18cm and Item Description that lists it at 19cm with no official, only placeholder images...
    Interesting

It's also been claimed the pic actually shows placeholder images of the figure.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

But that's okay. It's not like anyone's still interested in movie toys with child level transformation. Right?

By far my least favourite of the AoE Optimus Prime robot modes I've seen.
    But that alt mode...
