Rescue Bots Season 2 cartoon details

Someone on TFW has quoted something on Facebook that I can't find, but it is from one of the Voice Actors on Rescue Bots, saying that the second season should start on the HUB (in America) in February.

It's kinda funny that the only new Transformers cartoon on TV in 2014 will be Rescue Bots... so I wonder if it will gain some extra attention from the global fansites as each episode airs, just because it is the only new content on TV this year.

Minor update, from the HUB website, saying that the new season will start in America on March 1st.

And straight away, we already have titles and descriptions for the first two episodes (which they could be playing both on March 1st on the American HUB channel).

The second season of “Transformers Rescue Bots” kicks off with action-packed, episode “Road Trip”, where a tricky transporter takes Cody for a crazy ride and Kade takes on a high-flying rescue mission. The second episode, “Sky Forest” has Cody and Frankie going head to head in a town inventor contest, leading to a jealous divide between the two. To make matters worse, Frankie's contest entry gets out of control, not only threatening her friendship with Cody and the Bots, but the safety of the entire island.

Cody is turned into a grown-up during an experiment, which compromises his spot on the rescue team.

And a short promo clip from the first episode has been posted up as well.
You can tell that this second season was animated for the second series of toys, based on the big rescue vehicle looking like the playset firetruck (to help sell it - a bit late now though), but for some reason that we might find out later, this season was held back until now.

After buying and watching the first 10 Season One episodes on iTunes I actually like this show more than most Transformers series. I'm looking forward to Season Two.

Looks like the Firetruck playset is called the MHQ (mobile headquarters) in Season 2... which will expand the story potential if they are able to travel now, as it would get a bit boring rescuing the same small town after all these episodes.

A new promo clip has been released by the HUB for the new season of Rescue Bots, confirming again that this season should have been out with the second series of toys.... as the "Energize" gimmick is shown in this clip.

This show might get more attention from fans now that it will be the only Transformers cartoon on TV this year.

The first couple episodes should be screening today in America, and a few comments were posted up on TFW from one of the writers about how they try to throw in easter eggs for the older fans that tie it to TFPrime... without being something significant to confuse the kiddies.

"With Transformers Prime now over, are the writers thinking of any ways to further tie the shows together since they have been said to be in the same universe? Something like Agent Fowler, Unit:E or even Ratchet having cameos?"

Nicole: The writing team is always trying to think of ways to put Easter eggs in Rescue Bots that tie it to the Prime universe -- a lot of people have noticed the "I hope there's no such thing as a Skyquake" line Blades has, or the implication that Morocco was trying to sell off technology to Silas. I can't spoil anything that's coming up, but know that we're still treating the show as existing in Prime continuity and we pay homage/reference that whenever we can. At one point in season 1 there was a chart of where the Rescue Bots episodes happened in the Prime timeline. Now we lag the Prime events by quite a bit, obviously.
