Got Leader Class Animated Megatron today. It has a red tip on the cannon barrel despite the fact that it's a helicopter. :/ Lameness extreme.

    Yeah, WB azrael!

    - Wildride - can't remember which line he's from but he's a great toy
    - Cybertron Brushguard
    - Cybertron Wreckloose
    - Universe Obsidian (i love the mold)
    - Cybertron Repugnus

A fair bit of custom fodder in here. I realised earlier tonight that I have at least 35 figures not in my database just lying around waiting to be customised.

That's X-Brawn, not Wildride. Wildride is the (IMO vastly superior) Takara version.

    Got some KO Constructicons yesterday...
Okay, not really KOs, but the crazy colours give them that vibe.
Considering how rare and expensive these are, they were becoming a bit of a grail for me. They were released during Generation 2, as a US Store exclusive (Kaybee Toys I believe), so very few exist, and even fewer in packaging.
I got these loose though, which still go for $300-600 on ebay, or about $100 each when sold individually.
The seller was very nice to make an exception and send them out of America, despite preferring not to (I begged before bidding, but could have got them posted to someone in America if necessary).

All complete and in almost perfect condition (they are so rare and expensive, I was not going to buy anything incomplete or damaged and later have to buy duplicates to complete it).

That'd probably be the only time I'll have them combined, after I put them on display in their individual robot modes. I don't like to 'play' (convert or combine) the rarer figures, in case they break.
For the rest of their lives, they'll probably be looking like this on my shelving:

But before they do, the other G1/1.5/2 Constructicons want to give them a proper 'Decepticon' welcome to the collection...

(left is Gen1, middle is orange G2, top right Euro 'G1.5', bottom right is yellow G2)

The goal I made at the start of this year to complete my G2 collection by years end is almost a certainty now with some fairly common recolours left.
If only Hasbro and Takara stopped releasing so much stuff this year, I'd be able to afford the older lumps of plastic more easily...

    Oooooh!
They look as though someone has attacked 'em with fluoro highlighters...

I'm guessing you couldn't hold off 'til the end of the month...

Nah, june was the last month I did an end of month posting. It's just easier this way, and looks a little less boasting from my end as well. Hopefully.

Griff they look awesome IMO. I like the look of them combined more than individually.

Well done anyway. Can we ask what the total on them was?

The G1 yellow ones (lower right corner of photo) can't combine.
