Granted they're not all straight out repaints like the first lot of G1 Seekers were, but if Hasbro have done it recently, i don't see why they wouldn't with these two in the future
That may happen in revision waves... but it is rare to have two of the same mould first-released at the same time. I can think of the FOC Soundwave/Soundblaster, and Energon combiner limbs JP Arms Micron Rumble/Frenzy... but they do try to stagger the release of redecos (which may end up together later).
As bad as female TFs toys are to retailers, I'd still hope that these two are different moulds, just as a sweetener to retailers to stock the case.

Nautica may be a boat, based on the name. There's broad elements of the design that suggest Thunderblast from the Cybertron series (and maybe they thought that name wasn't 'feminine' enough).

Ahh, i was looking at it as having repaints packaged together in case packs as opposed to their release schedule. Gotchya
With BbTS advertising these two as the only Wave 5 figures, i'm thinking it'll be a 4 & 4 split in each case, (i havent seen any indication so far that there will be additional figures packaged with them) which may mean retailers receiving a box or two will end up with limited range to offer.

Actually, from what it looks like from the case breakdown, they are supposed to be packaged with Scoop and Waspinator.

There it is, top of the page. 3 a piece with the others making up the 8. Is that a new listing? I dont recall seeing that split available.

Not sure which listing you're referring to. Here's the link for the full case I'm seeing.

Some character designs from the windblade mini-series were released that show a new design for chromia now with four wheels, two on her back (or shoulders) and two on her legs. She also uses her windsheild as a sort of riot shield. That and all the lights she has built into her design make me think chromia could potentially turn into a police car.

Yeah, that Chromia pic that gives us a good look at her is here:

She looks great IMO, can't wait for the book.

I'm getting the ugly feeling that Wave 5 is going to be a cruel April Fool's joke.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

I've got the feeling they are being moved up from May since May is when the AOE toys come out, but the toys must not be ready to be shown yet. That would account for why we are getting wave 5 before wave 4. Or they could be ROTF repaints and Hasbro is hopping they can sell a couple to unsuspecting customers by not showing them till the last minute.
