Doesn't it depend on location (from & to) & parcel size dimensions as well? Not sure how you came up with that cost saving.

I guess....Posting to or from WA is more expensive, but within your own city it is cheaper.

The $14.45 figure I was referring to, is what it has been costing me to send packages from Brisbane to most other states, for 501gms to 1kg.
If you are sending something across the country, it would be a bigger saving.

Well here is a bit of extra iinfo: customs can take up to 15 days to process a package

Know how I know? Ordered a bunch of TFs on the 9th from BBTS and did express international postage to make sure it arrived in time for Xmas. It ‘apparently’ left the US on the 11th and no tracking info since.

Contacted BBTS to find out what was wrong and they said the tracking wouldn’t be updated until it came through our customs. Checked their site and yeah, can take up to 15 days to process a package, and apparently they will contact you if it takes longer as that means there is an import issue.

So no Xmas toys for Trev this Xmas. Just glad I didn’t order any of my kids toys from there.

Anyone know what days Aus Post delivery drivers are taking off this after Christmas? They normally take a couple of days off to make up for working weekends before Christmas.
