    For me it's filled with trepidation, worry that either a) the paint has bled under the mask, or b) the paint comes off on the tape (as happened with large portions of the legs, where the plastic is a softer more flexible one, and despite my use of a good primer coat underneath).

    Did some more painting and "un-masking" today... I did have some issues with paint chipping and bleeding, but not worth the trepidation I confessed in the last post. I'm so happy with the way it came out... you can start to see a bit more of there I'm going with this...

    yea, because you're such a hack

    I can't see anywhere that needs touch ups there. I'm digging it, the white and blue works really well, and the glow effect on the ramps looks great.

    Got a bit more of the glow effect painting done. One more sitting (should be this weekend) and I'm down to hand painting/detailing/gloss coats.

    It's not the total of all I painted, but here's some of the leg pieces (and some of my curious son's legs too), and a partially reassembled leg. It's starting to come together...
