Default Myer launches their "My Kids Emporium" at the Melbourne CBD store

The Myer Melbourne CBD store have created a "My Kids Emporium", with dedicated Lego and other Brand sections... including Transformers of course.

Hasbro Australia have sent me a couple photos of their toy display to show off to us collectors here. And more photos of the launch "party" can be seen at the Retailer Toy&Hobby magazine site.

Avengers take centre stage, but there are quite a few Transformers in there as well.

Myer CBD actually has products on the shelves! In all seriousness, it looks fantastic. Very orderly and they moved the Mark 42, which is goddamn awesome (making a suit of it myself). I haven't gone to a retail store since before AOE hit, so I'll have to go sometime.

I may have written the wrong thing, so edited the post... as I had guessed that the Myer was in the CBD Emporium, but when I do a search for "Myer Emporium" it's way up the northside, at Northgate. (and Myer CBD is next to the CBD Emporium, not in it)

Does anyone know for sure which Myer it is from?

I was just there on Tuesday, took me a little while to find it but it's connected to the CBD building on Bourke street, I think there is another building you can go into to get to it, but you can also reach it from the fourth floor of the CBD building.
looks really nice there, very big and plenty of (Wave 1) Transformers

This was on Channel Nine News over here in Perth the other day. Didn't mention Transformers but they were showing all the Lego displays and giant Barbie shoe etc. they are trying to copy the New York style toy stores, looks real nice.

If only Myer were competitive with pricing, those nice looking, well stocked displays will move toys fast... but I can see that most of that product will still be there for the Christmas toy sales.

Moved these posts here since it has become a news item at other locations, including the Retailer Toy&Hobby magazine site.

(I'll fix up the first post to reflect that it is confirmed to be the CBD store... which I probably would have known if I lived in Melbourne. )
