Beyond the gold, Optimus' colours are close enough to the originals, making him an acceptable substitute. Soundwave can't really do that.

I presume you're talking YOTH Optimus? Otherwise I'd have to put on whatever glasses you're wearing to see what you see.

Yeah, I had to double-check the images in the first post of this topic... as I didn't think there was much "Gen1" in the colours of the next CNY Optimus.


On a side note... that's all four years so far of the zodiac specials that includes an Optimus. Is the character so iconic that they couldn't risk zodiac specials without an Optimus?
