I agree, I always thought the "let's release the toys AFTER the cartoon has had its first airing, so kids can play with toys of characters they've already forgotten about" approach was stupid. I'm really just noting that Hasbro appear to have changed that approach, which is interesting, and I wonder why. It might have something to do with striking while the iron is hot to follow up on the "success" of AOE which was supposed to revolutionise and reinvigorate the brand, but of course we all know how that went. But still, interesting.
