That's gold! There ought to be a thread for this kinda thing. Would be quite a long list I would imagine.
Poor clumsy Bumblebee, getting injured time traveling and occasionally falling off a cliff.
Makes it obvious why Hasbro Australia wanted to get someone who speaks english to do up a bio... after they saw the Bumblebee one, it was too late to fix it, but could get the next one done in time (Ultra Magnus).
It makes it really cringe-worthy reading that.
They couldn't even stick an extra three letters (bee) on the end of his name where ever it is done in the bigger font size.
At least they did what I had hoped (and suggested if they didn't), by leaving the original Japanese instructions in as an added frill for the Collectors.
Yeah it seems this is isolated to the TRU release, as far as i know. Australia we know about, worldwide, not so sure. Over on the TFCCA group on facebook there has been some chat about it. If it is just the TRU Australia release it means there are only limited numbers of this fault.
It's a TRU exclusive in Australia, but other countries in Hasbro Asia-Pacific markets might be receiving the same thing, because these imported Japanese MPs are done by Hasbro AP (specifically Hasbro HK and Hasbro AU). The instructions for MP Wheeljack was done by a third party translation company and it appears that the same was done for Bumble. As griffin said, Hasbro AU looked at what was done for Wheeljack and realised that they needed an English speaker for future JP imports like MP22 Ultra Magnus. I guess that Bumble must've been done shortly after Wheeljack and it would've been too late to change that.![]()
