I tell ya - with all these great "repaints" in the Japanese line, I'm more and more inclined to skip Hasbro's 2.0 releases and just wait until they come out in Japan in the better colours... e.g. Powerglide!
But knowing my lack of will power, I'll probably end up getting both!

I'd say no. You're better off getting the permit which says "Megatron Transformer" which means it would also cover Encore Megatron, not just MP Megs.
