I saw the Insecticons at a Toys R Us in China. The new Platinum boxes look good but they look so much better in real life.

I don't care HOW much the price, but I want the experience of buying minty fresh G1 at retail. My encore are looking shabby and it's nice to have more official energon cubes.

Good news, original colours. No triple changer weirdness going on here.

Interestingly the photos of the toys have them with the "conehead" look. Would this be the first time an official release of these guys has photos of them in that configuration?

I don't know, but Thrust would've probably had those stupidly overlengthened missiles. But Ramjet would've been great, as he has no missiles for Hasbro to screw up (the Hasbro reissue of Dirge is great ).
