WIP.

This custom is a commission, from someone who wants a trailer to go along with their MP-10B. The base model I'm using is the one from YOTH Optimus Prime, which poses some problems - the clear plastic appears far more brittle to me than the regular opaque plastic from an MP-10. I've already had some breakage/cracks/stress marks appearing just doing the basic opening and closing of the trailer, etc, only 2-3 times. I am going to have to be gentle.

First, disassembly and cataloguing. I took dozens of photos of this process, and made notes, for reference later. For a simple trailer that opens up (rather than transforming into something entirely different, it's remarkably complex and well put together. This thing has been designed beautifully, in a way that I only really appreciate taking it apart.

Each and every piece is then cleaned, and then primed. I've used Tamiya spray can primer in grey, I've tried others but find this one the best.

(And yes, that is Metrotitan guarding over the pieces)

This thing is phenomenally detailed. The plan is for some glow effects, like on
Metrotitan, on the inside. Final colour schemes are still in the process of being finalised.

More updates coming! This one WON'T take me 9 months, let me assure you!
