One of my local Safeways had Hot Cross Buns out but no eggs.

I'm excited though coz I love those Apple/Cinnamon Hot Cross Buns and they make a really good Bread and Butter pudding.

Right on cue, the Coles near me had a heap of hot cross buns out today, with today being the "baked on" date.

You can't drop that and not leave details.

I basically copied this recipe but used apple cinnamon hot cross buns.
When I buttered the buns I also spread a layer of apple sauce on top of the butter. Then when making the custard I added some cinnamon into that (I wanna say a tea-spoon but I just dusted it into the bowl until it looked like enough).

Pro-tip: works best with stale buns (or bread if you want a regular one), but because you probably don't want to wait for that just toast them a bit in the oven so they are dry. The drier the better since they absorb the custard real good.

Very nice! Though it looks like a "have once in a while" recipe.

Bought an one of those circular inflatable chair pad things for my work chair. It is similar to sitting on a balance ball.

I had no idea that bouncing around all day on my chair could be so confortable.

15 months after bushfires tore through much of the NSW coastal areas, now a lot of the coastal areas are suffering through record floods.
I hope everyone on here that lives in those affected areas wasn't too badly affected.
