I wouldn't have high hopes for star track either, I've had terrible dealings with them previously. Toll would have been a better option among the couriers.

I personally think most courier companies are pretty rubbish, I've had problems with many and most have the same policies. they all hire people on cheap rates so it's likely that they all have some staff who don't put in any effort or care.

I can't remember exactly but if you miss mail, do star track drop it in at ur post office? i recall dicksmith were a big fan of star track before they got butchered :P.

Toll is great but i think they're most expensive?

based from my experience i missed my router from TPG sent thru Star Track and they left it in the nearest Au Post post office (not on a business hub) which is cool though both are near anyway

My local postman said that because star track are owned by auspost they can leave parcels at the nearest post office.

I for one am very pleased with the move, living in what you would call regional Australia it normally takes 4-5 days for auspost to deliver from anywhere in aus where as these freight companies it can take up to 2 weeks.

Like right now my mp-30 took 3 days to get from the gold coast to melb but its now just about to enter its fourth day on a 8hr boat ride to Tassie!
