the toy is sealed to a bubble so it's kinda pointless anyway
CSG is another alternative to AFA

as you can see some lucky bastard has a graded Takara Fort Max![]()
But I've heard that getting something graded can reach into hundreds & hundreds of dollars... (whereby the cost of getting it graded in the first place & its actual resale value aren't that different to one another)
& there have been occasions where the owner has felt that their boxed figure deserved a much higher grading than it actually received (therefore having a significant impact on its future value)
I would have thought that they would be sealed to prevent switching product and selling it online (or even in person). Hopefully there is some indicator on the removable-bottom cases, when the bottom has been removed. Otherwise even when it is the real thing in the case, handling it and putting it back is likely to cause damage that would affect the rating (and as you say, defeats the point, because the rating is no longer guaranteed).

Sorry but I just see it as another way for people to increase the price of collectables in general not just TF's. It may have started off with all the best intentions but as it has been previously said the AFA graded items are outrageously priced, it's still the same item but now it's a box inside a box with a ratings sticker on the outside. Definitely not something that interests me.
Is there a list somewhere that we can grade our own ones i mean the C9 grading etc?
Why in the hell do people get brand new figures graded? Seriously, What is the point? *shakes head*
People like this guy must work at the Action Figure Authority & grade figures themselves (therefore costing them nothing)
Why else would you bother grading those movie/allspark figures? (It's not like they'd be incredibly valuable in future years...)![]()
