Wave 3 "Classics" Legions

The first two waves showed up here in Coles and Woolies at the middle of last year when movie toys were out, and if this 3rd wave is legit (from a Japanese online store), I think we should see them here as well.... because the food chains love the small, cheapest price-point toys.

Wave 1 was Optimus, Bumblebee, Starscream.
Wave 2 was Megatron, Grimlock, Stafe.

Wave 3 should be Ultra Magnus, Cliffjumper, Skywarp.

No images yet, but judging by the names, I'm expecting wave 3 to be just redecos of wave 1.

I have all of Wave 1 and Strafe from Wave 2 so I'm pretty looking forward to these (except if Ultra Magnus is white and blue not white,red and blue)

Looks like these are already out in America, but wasn't mentioned until they saw the news about them being new.
So if they are coming here, it might be quite soon now.

Only photos of Skywarp and Ultra Magnus so far, in packaging and out of packaging.

As expected from the small size-class, the paint details are limited or missing (like the tyres). And Skywarp looks to be blacker than the earlier Japanese version, which had light purple arms and shins.

Maybe he's had enough of being a Prime repaint and he's not going to take it anymore!

He can't deal with being a Prime repaint. He was enjoying the fact that lately they've been giving him retools, and even entirely new molds, but they have to go back to the trend he hated

Now I want to see the Cliffjumper figure :P

I think they look good, especially the packaging art. My only bug is that they did the white and blue prime (which is ok) but on Ultra Magnus's body.

Some more images of the new three, with three re-release figures to be packed with them - Optimus and Bumblebee from wave 1, and Grimlock from wave 2. (RobotKingdom has the six listed as a set)

The rerelease figures have slightly different packaging to match the wave 3 figures, and apparently some slight deco changes to Optimus and Bumblebee... or it seems that it was a running change during their original release, so could be unchanged from most earlier ones.

We got the first version and the running change versions here too, not sure about the packaging change.
