i'm not massively into it any more, i watched the series on sbs years ago and didn't quite get it at the end but the purple would be unit 01, the main character's one. red would be unit 02 and the yellow i think is maybe a prototype unit from one of the reboot movies or series? i don't remember it being yellow in the original series.

i don't know if you would call them characters as such although they seem to have their own personalities. they are cyborgs piloted by children. someone who knows more can explain better

The yellow one is Eva-00, an early model. It later became blue.

Ok. Based on the ones that have order dates AND release dates, it must be out in Mid June then.

The Big Optimus looks to be based on that Gimmick Movie Optimus toy that was exclusive to Japan. The promo image in the link in the first post puts the RID Optimus as twice the size, so it isn't a remould... but since that Movie one cost a fair bit, this one is likely to be really expensive.

Updated the dates, and some names in first post (from BBTS listing).


Also, from a wiki site, the three Evangelion Crossover toys appear to fit closest to the "Rebuild" versions of Unit 0 (yellow), Unit 1 (purple), & Unit 2 (red).
But that will just be temporary notations on the listing, as the actual versions or names will be revealed in JP Hobby magazines in around July/August. (these are due out until about September)
