Just checked and the pre order at EB Games is $49.95. I hope this not indicative of the game quality??? Still going to play it, it's a G1 Transformers game after all.

don't pre-order games! it's not like pre-ordering figures to help guarantee you get some and even that doesn't always work all the time.

Steam has a listing up in their store for PC now too. No option for pre-order (or price) but it's able to be added to your wishlist, so when something gets updated you'll get a message.

A couple more promo videos for the game have been released fo/from SDCC... one featuring Grimlock and another featuring Sideswipe.

The Grimlock video is about 10 minutes and includes a lot of actual game play of Grimlock and Optimus, plus has Gregg Berger on the panel, who is voicing Grimlock.

The Sideswipe video is about 3 minutes and just plays one of the levels that was in the Grimlock video, but this time Sideswipe is being used instead of Optimus.
So at least you have some choice in characters, within the constraints of the plot's requirements. A bit like War For Cybertron, which had a small selection of characters you could use in each level, but certain characters had to be included.

I love how they really put a lot of effort into it having a "cartoon" feel to it, while I also get a bit of an Andy Wildman vibe from the detailing.
The cartoon colouring means that the chapter videos look like part of the game, instead of being something that is more detailed and out of place.
The person playing the game while they were talking makes it look easy, but I would hope that it only gets easy after playing it for a while... so that it can be a bit of a challenge first time you play it all the way through, but then it is a bit of quick easy fun when you pop in the game later to fill in some time.

It was great hearing Greg Berger do Grimmy. The game play looks fun... and I suspect that your concerns of difficulty Griffen will be elevated by a simple setting. Cant wait for it to come out.

Good to see the price drop. Still going to be cautious since Platinum's games are rather difficult. I was neverable to get into Bayonetta 2 because of my bad timing.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

There is a poster from SDCC for the Devastation game which shows Menasor - hopefully he is going to be a boss in the game as well

    http://www.seibertron.com/transforme...-poster/33501/

Every other character in the poster I've seen in demos of the game (Insecticons, Devestator, Soundwave etc etc) so it would be weird for them to include the Stunticons in the poster if they are not going to make an appearance.

Man I know it's unlikely, but I'd like some toys of this. Some battle charger clone bots would be lurvely!
Where is Unicron? I can see Cybertron and Earth but not him - whereabouts in the pic?

Yeah, would be cool if we got some toys like we did with WFC and FOC but I think since they are using the CHUG toyline as reference already it's not real likely.
