Looks like TFW has completely crashed from the peak of people in America who were logging in to see what was on display at SDCC.
About an hour ago there were about 4000 people on there and it was already showing some database errors... so I might have to post up some Seibertron links as well as a backup.

(remember when BotCon used to cause internet meltdown like this, for all the news being revealed at that convention... before FunPub ruined its reputation)

Some Transformers Pez dispensers were given to people at the Breakfast event, which should be released soon, if not already... but probably only in America.

One announcement at SDCC is that there will be some sort of animation being done for Combiner Wars by a company called Machinima... but it is rather vague as to what format it will take, or how/where it will be broadcast. (and the details of what the company does was rather confusing, as they seem to do a wide variety of things)

“The Transformers are coming to Machinima.
Hasbro, the toy company-now-play brand, has partnered with the online gamer and video platform to produce a new animated series based on its Transformers: Combiner Wars line.
Combiner Wars is a storyline that has been playing out across Hasbro’s toys and IDW comic books for the past year and the upcoming Activision video game Transformers: Devastation.
Insiders say it’s the first time these many synergistic elements have been combined by Hasbro to tell an overall story.
Additionally, Habsro is giving something a segment of its large Transformers audience has been demanding for years, namely an animated series aimed at an older audience.
“Our audiences are huge fans of the toy, comics, movies and video games, and for us to continue the legend with the Combiner War is a unique story-telling opportunity,” said CCA Daniel Tibbets.
Said Hasbro’s senior vp of the Transformers franchise, Tom Warner: “(Machinima is) the perfect partner to help launch a totally new kind of Transformers animation—one that, for the first time ever, is specifically designed for the teen and adult fans who’ve grown up loving the Transformers brand.”
Without going to deep into the complexities of the Transformers universe, Combiner Wars saw groups of Transformers be able to combine into one giant robot, known as a Combiner. Superion and Menasor were among the new robots that held the fate of the Transformers’ homeworld Cybertron in their hands.”

We also get a closer look at the new feet for Victorion, and it sounds like they will be used on other combiners as well.

The Hasbro Generations presentation has now occurred, and photos from the presentation can be seen here, along with a new trailer for the Devastation game, featuring Grimlock, Shockwave, Blitzwing and Insecticons.

Some of the more interesting items that weren't revealed at BotCon a couple weeks ago...

A Gen2 Menasor confirmed, to go with Superion that was revealed a couple hours beforehand.

The names of Victorion's team members - Dustup (Deadend car), Jumpstream (Breakdown car), Stormclash (mostly red helicopter), Skyburst (mostly green helicopter), Pyra Magna (firetruck), Rust Dust (motorcycle).
Victorion will be released "sometime next year".

2016 wave 1 Voyager (to be released with Onslaught) is Scattorshot, who forms Betatron (not Computrton) with existing Deluxes (the slide shows the Autobot cars from 2015 wave 4). It is another heavy remould of the Silverbolt toy.
There was a blacked out square on Voyager Onslaught's slide at BotCon, so now we know who it was being released with him for wave 1 next year.

Masterpiece Starscream being re-released in October in America... and no mention of Sideswipe, so maybe it has been cancelled. (it was noted at BotCon 2014 that it would be out this year with Bluestreak)

Platinum Edition Trypticon and Blaster/Perceptor will be Target exclusives in America in August.

    (that looks to be it)

The RID presentation is in another three hours.

From the same link as above...

    A Q&A session followed:
    No plans for Dinobots Combiner
No plans for Predaking, or beast combiners in general.
    Cannot conform MP-28 is Hound
The reason for the differences between Hasbro and Takara’s Devastators was basically cost.
The reason for not doing Prowlastator was because Hasbro wanted to give fans a G1 version of Devastator.
No plans to make toys of the Decepticon Justice Division.

Victorion is worth it just for that sword. Such a cool looking weapon.

This could be interesting, though I worry that it'd end up an animated comic.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.

Victorion is uuuugly (but I'll probably still buy it)

If I didn't already have Quickslinger I'd be narked that that mold was being used only with the G2 Superion.
