Some galleries for the SDCC Transformers toy exclusives - Devastator and the 3-pack Combiner Hunters.

The Combiner Wars line has been very exciting with the start of Superion Menasor, Defensor and Devastator but after that it is slowly getting redundant with only lazy repaints and minimal remoulds with only Bruticus seems to be the last to reignite the excitement

Perhaps they had a certain budget for Combiner Wars, and as stated on Hasbro pulse website, they make a second head for every mold but don't necessarily use it. CW will most likely lead into Titan Wars? Just spit balling.

Well we may not understand what Hasbro's budget or target profit is but there seems to be no other toy line with so much redundancy than the CW line. Also we may notice how TFs become smaller and lighter (and weaker plastics) when we compare TFTM toys to TF DoTM/AoE toys.

I seriously doubt that we will see similar set-ups in other countries, like ours.
Just wanted to post an update to this.

I signed up as soon as the pulse site was promoted on the fan sites, not caring about the package, and didn't know until Griffin posted this that I wouldn't be able to receive the emails.

When signing up I entered my address with a state starting with v, as a laugh, figuring that if Hasbro wanted to once again turn their back on their international customers then they could waste one package on an incorrect address.

Then this arrived in the mail today!

The package is basically pointless, but it is still funny that I eventually received it.

That is pretty impressive... and if it had something worthwhile in it, I'd be recommending others try it as well.

I wonder how they figured out that you were in Australia, because I don't remember seeing a country option on the registration screen.

Even if you could enter your full address, I'm amazed that they bothered to send it, as it cost them US$8.22, compared to probably a dollar to an American... and they would have been forgiven for not sending it out if they weren't advertising this website to non-Americans.

That SDCC card was kinda pointless to the majority of Americans as well, as they were sent out during SDCC was on, and unless you were already going (bought tickets months ago), I doubt more than a couple people were even able to get anything out of it.

While I was blacking out personal details I (just now realised) also blacked out 'Melbourne', so someone must've noticed that and realised it wasn't an American address.

As for the shipping, it is doubtful that all the people handling the packing and shipping of these have any idea who they are intended for. Someone must've gotten the information from Hasbro's computer system and just figured it was supposed to be posted.

They had all my details except for state and country, even my post code (I just added a zero for their 5 digit zip code) and with the 'VT' where 'VIC' should be, once someone added Australia at the bottom everything that was needed was there

It's an exclusive cover too... so you might be one of the few Australians who will end up with one. (other people will probably get one, but have to pay for it from other people who got it)

Does that mean you are also on their emailing list now too?

Oh the irony. While I've bought a few of the comics, they now sit on a shelf unfinished because I just wasn't that interested

I haven't received any emails, do you know if Hasbro have started sending them yet? Looking at the Pulse site there appears to have been only one or two updates since it's launch.
