Wow! the reporting, the music oh the music, my ears will never be the same again.
It really was a sensation back then, given the numbers they were selling compared to everything else.
Not a single toy in that ad was transformed properly. that was a bit disappointing.

Awesome, and because they sold out of primes the ones that arrived in NZ in early 1986 were ceji primes from france. (blue foot ceji boxed) This is why quite a few made in France G1 primes pop up at a surprising rate.
