Ah that now clears up what is meant by "stepped" paint job. Also notice the green on either side of the hood is also full rectangle instead of the triangle bit cut into it.

Any chance it could look like the aftermarket paint job for US online retailers such as TFsource? Perhaps excess stock they couldn't move as oppose to a re-run?

If you're after Wheeljack and buying on eBay, beware of the "TAKASA-TONY" knock offs. The genuine product has jumped in price (as it was only released 12 months ago), however no where near the ridiculous level as MP Soundwave's price (x2-3).
