Sorry if I am late to this but shouldn't he be bigger? He doesn't look as big as the Seekers or Soundwave.

Supposedly Hot Rod is a close to Ironhide's size, which would make Shockwave similar size to Soundwave and the Seekers.

While a cartoon accurate Skyfire would be great, the Macross fan in me thinks that Hasbro has a moral responsibility to do everything they can to piss Harmony Gold off. They can flex their corporate ego as much as they want in that space and you won't hear any complaints from me

This was an unlikely official release so the fact that it's happening is great news!

As has been mentioned, MP Shockwave looks very cartoon inspired so that will certainly have a good G1 cartoon crowd appeal. They must have gotten a license or worked out some sort of legal loophole but nonetheless, it shows that they are willing to look into and work out licensing for G1 Non-TakTom molds for MP releases.

I wonder if Quakewave and other 3P releases made them realize the market demand to make it happen?

Or this is a indirect attack at 3p that they will loose their slice of the cake every time they come out with new stuff that the fans want. Ideas also can be stolen as takara has leading rights to Transformers anyway.
