Good to get a size on Laserwave too compared to the other Decepticons.

And after seeing these pictures I have no regrets about pre-ordering Shockwave.
Still not sure about Hot Rod as I already have the Hasbro Rodimus, but maybe this will change.
Any idea whether or not Hot Rod still has the gimmick to become Rodimus Prime in robot mode? Just wondering how different this guy will be to his predecessor.

Premium Collectables still have Shockwave and Hot Rod available, and at $169.95 AUD and $99.95 AUD respectively they seem to be the best value for money compared to the current exchange rate

AE may beat the current PC prices but the shipping will be where it all pans out PC to be better.

In honestly if I seen these pics I may hold back on hot rod, it doesn't look much better ATM

Oh and to those who were questioning about prototype pics. This is why I trusted the info rather than just a cartoon shadow.

Shockwave looks great but why is the con symbol on the forearm
Hot Rod looks rather plankish as a bot but car mode is spot on.

I'd prefer it looking like this.

Yeah I'm quite relieved he scales well with them, I thought from earlier pics he would be much smaller

Sounds like MP Ultra Magnus is being reissued at the same time, to go with Hot Rodimus... and a Legends (Generations) Springer reissue (minor redeco), for a bit of a 1986 Movie anniversary theme happening (despite that movie coming out in in Japan in 1989).
It seems that TakaraTomy are commemorating Hasbro's anniversary of the movie.
