I don't get why these BAPE ones are so popular (or the EVA one for that matter).

Because tlc was involved as opposed to the dull mp-10

Hey I don't bother but IMO they are quite well done as compared to the normal prime

Mostly for boasting (owning an uber-rare toy) if they keep it, or for the value of it (to resell for big profit within a few weeks) if they had no interest in keeping it, but grabbed it before an actual fan could get it at retail price.

Bape could just go on with the new masterpiece primal if that was going to happen.

Coke or Pepsi prime would be cool for me.

What was the price of the green one when it was listed? This seems excessive.

Green Bape was about US$350 from the store here in HK (but as I said it sold out so quick it wasn't funny).

When I was looking around for one just after release they were at about US$500 but I can't commit that kind of $$ to a figure I only want because it looks like Optimus in Camo...

I like the mould which is why I would have an interested in getting one but for those kinds of prices I'd rather put the money towards an original G1 Optimus...

    From TFW2005

MP 10 Bape convoy will be released August 9th via Bape's Shibuya store in Japan for 18,144 Yen (tax included)
I heard that the HK BAPE stores were selling them for up to $600... I'm not sure how much truth to that there was...
Which brings us to where we are today...
