    SCORPONOK. No contest.

Trypticon just had a re-issue so he can sod off. Omega Supreme is great but ol' Scorps just owns him in the coolness dept. Plus, the original Scorponok is one of the greatest Transformers of all time. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to take a good hard look at themselves and question their grip on reality. Hence, he has already proven his RIGHT to a 21st Century update.

    SCORPONOK. end of.

    So did I.

Was skimming through the 2.5k votes so far and at a very rough estimate I'd say it's Trypticon coming first with Scorponok coming a close second and then Omega Supreme

    #VoteTrypticon FTW

However, as has been pointed out, Hasbro have in no way committed to making the winner of this vote into the next Titan Class toy. They are simply asking who we think deserves to be made into the next toy. There is a clear distinction.

They're obviously planning a new release after Fort Max and they'd be daft to ignore the fan vote. Sure, they haven't said explicitly that the winner will get made but it's strongly implied (and TFW2005 definitely seem to think it will be released "later in 2016").

I voted Scorponok, but it looks to me like Trypticon is winning, and I'm okay with that. Omega Supreme would be a massive disappointment considering there was a very good Platinum Series release a couple of years ago that captured the character excellently. On the other hand choosing between Trypticon and Scorponok is trickier - Trypticon just got reissued, but Scorponok had a more than satisfactory release as an exclusive just recently. A modern update of either which fully captures their essence as a citybot would be most welcome.

As some have found out, the voting is now open at the official Transformers facebook page.

More details and the different promo images for each of the three candidates have been archived here.
