    These $20 Jetfires are insane!

Reminds me of the time I saw both G1 Metroplex and Galvatron on sale for $20 each at my local Franklins! It must've been about 1989 or '90, and there they were in time for Christmas!

My parents bought me Metroplex on the spot, and I still have the old guy, stored away in an itty bitty bin no less!

My folks got me an Ultra Magnus from Franklins at Airlie Beach for my 8th birthday in '89 and it was also on special for $20. I still have it as well.

So Hasbro sold these to the Reject Shop at $10-12 per piece?

Grabbed the last Jetfire at Swan Hill. Having the exact same conundrum

No wave 4's, but considering how chockas the shelves were it's possible they are in another box that will be put out once some of the ones on display sell.

if you take in the catalogue it might help. I have tried in the past and they have literally called the nearest store I'm price matching with and when the other store didn't have any stock they wouldn't price match.

Yeah, the item has to be in stock as per their policy:

Price Match available in store only. Competitor's product must be in stock at a retail outlet within the same city or town. Product must be identical (e.g. same brand, model and colour). Competitor's advertised price must be current. Price match not available when the competitor's lower price is due to category or storewide discounts, conditional sales, package deals, trade-ins, damaged stock, demonstration or discontinued lines and loyalty or third party offers. We will not match online retailers, fire or liquidation sales, clearance and warehouse outlets.

Jetfire doesn't seem to be in their online catalogue unfortunately.
