An unimportant civilian of a civilisation that had previously taken a back seat in the global politics of their home planet. highlighting that no matter how passive you may be, global crises requires your attention and participation. Also later representing that there are plenty people in positions of responsibility that perhaps shouldn't be there due to inability to understand the depth of their responsibility or the politics going on around them.

I also really liked Qui Gon Jin.
