Still dont like just how dark his robot feet are though. Everything else is amazing.

Considering all the extra faces they gave him, they could have at least included the original toys' mutant beast face.
But since this a cartoon homage toy (which might be why there is no skull mace), I guess to TakaraTomy the mutant beast face wasn't necessary... and if Hasbro had been doing this toy, they might have included the mutant beast face.

I'm really glad that they fixed the metallic blue face and belly on the final product. The other gorillas won't be picking on Primal no more!

That shade of deep blue is still not 100% show/biologically accurate though.

China has a ridiculous stance on not showing skulls (among other things) in gaming and media, anybody know if this translates to toys?

It'd be neat if the mutant face were included as an exclusive bonus say with Amazon Japan and Hasbro Hong Kong, similar to MP Bumblebee's toy-accurate faceplate.
