I'm liking these ideas, I wasn't agreeing that Griffin shouldn't get the award if he's voted for, so much as naming the award after him if he refuses to be considered eligible.

Or Griffin gets inducted into the Griffies Hall of Fame and is thereby excluded from voting for every year as he is a Hall of Famer. Winning 5 of the last 7 must qualify him as the inaugural inductee
