I wonder how Disney would feel about this. Given Mattel recently lost the Disney Princess license to Hasbro, in part because Disney saw the Ever After High line as competition

Would the merged company be forced to dump EAH? Would they care, given the potentially monsterous size of their portfolio?

Without another competitor, Disney can't really say "We don't like what you're doing so we're taking our business elsewhere". Who are they going to go to, MGA?
