I guess it could also depend on how well other really big reissues like Sky Lynx, Omega Supreme and Metroflex have been selling. If they're moving slowly then it's not much incentive for Takara to reissue more expensive big-hitters, let alone Fortress Maximus being the mother of all TF biggies. If they still have the Trypticon mould (last used in 1998 for BWII's Gigastorm) then they might want to consider reissuing that as another market test before considering Fortress Maximus.

I'm a bit surprised that e-Hobby hasn't decided to reissue Metrotitan... I'd totally get one, even if it doesn't come with Metrobomb. It'd be really sweet if e-Hobby gave us a reissue Grand Maximus if Takara reissued Fortress Maximus.

Reissue Fortress Maximus would also be more expensive than Brave Maximus considering that it would come with accessories that Brave Max never had (i.e.: weapons).

Takara doesn't market their reissues at parents or their kids. Every reissue package states "For Ages 15 and Up" - they are marketing it at older collectors. Having said that, they are marketing it at a mass collector market.
