    I hope you get a reply *wishful thinking*

    Even though you've worded it well, I can easily see the Myer Customer Service person saying to themselves "Delete!" (I'm pretty sure that happens alot... )

    they will probably pull the global economy/petrol prices card like everyone else seems to be doing

    If you don't get a reply in a reasonable amount of time, just get the rest of us to submit it to their customer feedback (you'd just need to give us instructions to make sure we don't stuff it up). That way they'd have to look into it if they get several dozen submissions of the same problem.
