that could just be different exposure values for the photos. Hard to tell without seeing them both in the same photo.

Totally agree. That's why I like doing and seeing side by side comparison photos as it means that both toys are photographed under the same conditions (even if the conditions are crap as in most of my pics). I didn't realise that CW Drillhorn's blue was so much lighter than G1 Drillhorn's until I put the toys side by side.

Ehobby have tweeted out some images of Magna Convoy, including a group shot of its last four exclusives (mirrored here).
It's been a while since there has been an update or new images, and the exact release date is still yet to be known, but it is still listed as a May release on the ehobby website.
It's amazing that this mould is almost 11 years old now, and used about a dozen times during that time.
