I have moved posts about the Studio Series Core Class Wheelie, Ratchet and Laserbeak (pink Bumblebee) into an existing news topic of the next wave of Studio Series toys.

Catching up on rumours from the last few weeks....

June 26th - Vintage Beast Wars Terrorsaur in-hand

    June 28th - Earthspark listings

this time in the form of “Transformers Terran Deluxe” figures, priced at $24.99 and currently all listed under codenames. “Terran” may be the codename for the upcoming Earthspark series. If so, it seems we could be getting Deluxe versions of these characters right off the bat, which would be good news for older collectors.

But that’s not all – in addition, we also have listings for $11.99 products, bearing some of the same names. These are currently a mystery, although we suspect they’re more gimmick-based figures.
In non-Earthspark news, there is also a listing for a “Bumblebee Gen SS Voy Nest 2” priced at $33.99.
July 3rd - Studio Series Rise of the Beasts

    • Studio Series 86 Leader Snarl
    • Studio Series ROTB Leader Oscar (Scourge)
    • Studio Series ROTB Leader Cyclops (Optimus Primal)
Good to see a Leader Snarl to complete the set of large Dinobots, as I suspect Swoop would end up being a Voyager.

(have to do all this in several posts... as the board won't let me post more than 3 links at a time)

July 4th - Studio Series WFC

“Gen Studio Series DLX WFC Bumblebee”
Could Studio Series really start delving into the WFC computer game? That really starts to dilute its original purpose of Movie toys... which was really supposed to just be live action movies, so I guess anything is allowed now just to keep the toyline running.

    July 4th - Studio Series mv7 Airazor

Studio Series Rise of the Beasts Deluxe Titan – the codename of Airazor!
    July 4th - Studio Series mv7 Cheetor

Studio Series Rise of the Beasts listings for 2023: Voyager Butch, the codename for Cheetor, and Voyager Apollo, who is currently an unknown character!

I find it odd that they specifically descibe Rumble as being blue in the product description, as if it is really important that fans know what they are going to get. I guess with it being part of the Studio Series toyline, it has to be blue because that was its colour in the 1986 Movie... but if it was part of the Legacy toyline, it would have been red to properly homage the original toy.

A couple of Movie listings on a European Amazon sites....

Studio Series Leader Class The Fallen - noted for October, and if that date is true, it would be part of the Fall 2022 wave, as we only know Voyager (Galvatron, Thundercracker), Deluxe (Bumblebee, Sideways, Arcee) and Core class (Laserbeak, Ratchet, Wheelie) so far. (it doesn't mean that there will always be something new in each size class, but the timing would line up with them)

Studio Series Deluxe Class Crosshairs - also noted for October... which if true would mean four new Deluxe toys for September/October. It is strange that it wasn't revealed with the other three, and if it isn't part of that wave, it would be very unlikely that there would be another wave released so soon after Bumblebee/Sideways/Arcee.

All of the Amazon links have now been removed, so they might be getting an official reveal at SDCC next week.

The rumour of a Vintage Beast Wars release of Retrax is gaining more ground, as an ebay listing has shown a small official image of the packaging, which resembles the type we've seen with the Vintage reissues.

I really hope it isn't being released, but I have a bad feeling that it is... as it could kill off any more Vintage reissues, from it shelfwarming worse than the first ones.

Who would you like to see released that you think wouldn't shelfwarm?

Looks like at least one factory sample of Crasher has been stolen and flogged on Carousell. And that's the toy-version head for Mirage, not the head shown on the recently found renders.

I'd like to see more of the show characters be re-released. Of course price is a factor, but for some figures like Retrax, it wouldn't matter how cheap it is listed for. It was a massive shelf-warmer in the 90s, and it will be again.

The toy isn't completely bad, as I think the beast mode has amazing sculpting and works perfectly as a pill bug (rolling up), but the "primary" mode (the robot mode) is heavily compromised in appearance and playability (not to mention very difficult to even stay standing with the tiny feet and heavy backpack).
