DECEMBER 2017 Japanese & HK excl toy items

A non-toy item that was released this month in Japan - the bluray edition Gen1 cartoon (including Rebirth, which was not released in Japan), plus Scramble City.
It doesn't include the movie, and a review of this set says that the visual quality is the same as the DVD edition that has been out for a few years now.
The only things noted are some extra features, and a lot less discs needed to contain all 98 episodes.

The December Legends toys are out now in Japan, and some early photos have been posted... showing the few minor differences.

It looks like Japanese fans will finally be getting the original 1980s comic released in their country, which is likely to be translated into Japanese. Starting in February from Hero-X (the publisher of the Generations books), the first for issues will be released for 2560yen, with original Japanese art and commentaries.

A little late, but apparently this extra mini-comic on the TakaraTomy website is "christmas" themed (barely), and features a lot of Sweeps heads hunting down White Lune (sister to White Leo - the head to Doublecross), who like most females in Japanese Transformers, seems to be drawn very curved, with very little clothing (plus some strategically placed cleavage shots, and Ai getting her underwear pulled off by a Sweeps head - which isn't the worst we've seen of her in Transformers, with that KT Figure Collection figurine of her bathing naked and Fire Convoy and Gelshark are both looking on... designed by the person who gave us Kiss Play).
