I’ve had multiple suppliers offer this product today, from China, Hong Kong and Japan. My suppliers in Hong Kong and Japan don’t deal in KO’s.

It depends on what sort of gold is used.
If it is shiny gold chrome plating like Lucky Draw toys, it would be a KO if being offered for sale in significant quantities.
But if it is like the gold painted MP-5 Megatron that came out a few years ago as an Asia exclusive, it would be legit.

It's an odd two-tone colour & not in a good way. I'd hope it would grow on me but alas no. I quite like the chrome-look painted sections in isolation BUT combined with the unpainted poo-yellow parts it looks hideous.
