Have a good read before you attemp the transformation.
But that should not be happening. This is the second time on a bw masterpiece and an expensive one.

I usually watch someone's reviews to see how to transform it and they usually give a heads up on trouble areas.

I'm just going to hold out hop it is a one off by an idiot who was far too rough with the transformation. If that turns out not to be the case, well in the box you stay Megs!

Kurdt got his yesterday and he says that careful attention is required and that the waist pull is VERY tight, however, following the instructions and g\taking it easy until you get a feel for it results in no problems.

This sort of thing in the fandom snaps me. It was one bloke. There aren't multiple people reporting the same thing. If 50 people report it, sure, it's definitely a QC issue. If only one person reports it, it's a combination of bad luck and/or rough housing. Then people get carried away on the poor QC bandwagon blah blah blah
