Transformers Collaborative Tonkanator coming to Australia?
Looks like it could be...
A couple weeks ago, Amazon Australia put up a product page for "Project Space" (all of the Collaborative toys have a Project code-name), showing images of the Tonkanator set, and noting that it was shipping from America (which would be 3rd party stock, not from Amazon America, as it is a Target exclusive in America).
At about au$220, it actually looked like a good deal (if you qualified for free shipping), based on what it costs in America, and what it would cost to post this big box to Australia.
But a couple days ago, the Amazon Australia listing added the option of purchasing stock from Amazon Australia (Australian stock), for an even better price of au$200.
Take into account that postage would normally be $20-30 for this sort of sized item, so each of the six toys in this set ends up being slightly less than the price of a Deluxe.

The listing says that the Australian stock is "temporarily out of stock", but it still allows you to purchase it, so Amazon Australia must be getting it soon.
Just remember - if the product page lists non-Australian stock as the default stock (because it is available right now), make sure that you select the "Amazon AU" stock tab on the "Other Sellers on Amazon" listing. (on a web browser, it would be on the right side of the product page, under the default purchase tabs)

Not sure if anyone noticed but Legacy Metroplex is now down to a much more affordable $192.71...so cheap I'm almost ready to bite (reasons I haven't are I'm more of a G1 MP/3P collector and I'm over-budget)

Not sure if anyone noticed but Legacy Metroplex is now down to a much more affordable $192.71...so cheap I'm almost ready to bite (reasons I haven't are I'm more of a G1 MP/3P collector and I'm over-budget)

You couldn't give me that thing for free.

Not that I think individually it's a bad piece, just that I'm over Transformers for Transformers sake. Gotta be something I have a connection to and this at that size is far from it.

Understand your feeling, however it's attractive to me not just for being a transformer but because the sculpt, paint and articulation look so good. Like much better than g1 Metroplex or fort Max.

Someone in America is selling the Holiday Optimus Prime toy on Amazon America, as it has shown up on Amazon Australia as import stock, for about au$130.
The price of this toy in America is us$50, so it is a bit pricey at au$130... but keep in mind, it is priced as a Leader Class toy in America, so that's a $100 toy here, and the extra $30 would be the postage all the way from America.

Looking on the American Amazon site, the private seller has 11 of them available, at us$80 (which makes them a $30 profit each)... which makes our au$130 price amazing, as it still needs to include shipping from America.

Last night I noticed on Amazon Australia, eight incomplete product pages for movie toys from Amazon America for release in a couple months... which I find strange that the Australian site isn't planning to have these eight items released from Australia at the same time (if at all).
They all have code names, which are probably on the rumours topic somewhere already, but we get a rough guide on some of the prices we will be hit with next year for the movie toys.

(actually, the release date listed on these product listings say May 2022, so these could be old listings that were created before the movie was pushed back a year, and archived until yesterday)

The first of the Legacy Evolution items to be in-stock at Amazon (as American stock), is Core class Soundblaster.

Unfortunately. since most of the first wave listed for pre-order at Amazon Australia, they won't release those particular items until that set release date (April), no matter how early the stock is released to retailers here.
Soundblaster and Needlenose were the only ones not listed by Amazon Australia, so if they get the stock in the next few weeks as well, they will release it as soon as they get it.
