Not a whole lot going on right now with Transformers comics... but it looks like Chris Ryall (a name us Transformers fans knew well when IDW got the Transformers license in 2005), is returning to IDW (he only left earlier this year), to take up the position of President, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer.
In other words... he's filling a big void, and while there appears to be nothing on the horizon for Transformers, IDW probably needs all the help they can get at the moment, as he is being credited with acquiring licenses for some of their more popular comic titles (including Transformers).
(not sure what is happening with John Barber, as he was taking on at least one of these roles when Ryall left)
