According to Reillyd, the Optimus Prime on sale is the wave 2 "movie" version (with flame details on the side of the truck, as pictured on the Aldi website)... as Bumblebee was released in both waves, and I wasn't sure which image of Optimus to include here (in case they had the wrong official image for Optimus).

I just found out that these were just released on Amazon America (for US$20) last month as well (and were new in Hong Kong when I was over there at the start of October), so maybe these are a new batch, and not the original production run in March 2017.

Picked up Prime yesterday. Was not expecting much. But I rather like him. No knees though.

I like Prime, he is big, and clunky, and looks impressive.
His vehicle is nice too, the front makes me think of Armada prime.

My daughter likes him too, so he gets a kids thumbs up too

Saw Bumblebee and Optimus, a few of each, at Aldi East Vic Park today. Same as 2018 but forgot to look at the price - think they were about $29.
