This had better be some sort of april fools joke or new years prank. MP-21 bb is pretty much perfect. there is no need for this. There are so many characters yet to receive an official MP treatment, even just in the season 1 and 2 G1 lineup.

I shudder to think how much MP Hound would cost if tiny Bumblebee v2 costs that much. But as you mentioned, if engineering is a big factor, and MP Hound doesn't seem too complex from the photos we've seen, then Hound could be about the same price as Bee v2.

mmmm… not really. From an aesthetic point of view, I wouldn't say it's a disproportionate mess, but he's top heavy with marathon runner legs and canoes for feet.

Bumblejumper's easy enough to do as HasTak have the Mazda licence. The issue is viability given the obscure nature of the toy. The issue with Cliffjumper and Hubcap is the Porsche licence which HasTak currently do not have.

I like your optimism, hope you're right but I think Hound will be more like 18,000¥.

I'll treat this like the + releases. Will keep the original MP-21 in car mode and display MP-45 in bot mode.

I'm thinking that they'll keep the outer shell and just redo the guts to make a more cartoon accurate robot mode.
