There's a long story behind this, that I won't bore you with in this thread. The short version of the story is that I accompanied a friend and street artist to Ego Expo Australia 2019 in Melbourne (steetwear and lifestyle expo) where he was doing a demo on street art. Turns out Angelus Leather Paint Australia was demonstrating some of their products, along with donated shoes from Etiko Fairtrade. I was encouraged to try my hand at it, and this is the result. It’s not at all perfect, but since it’s the first time I’ve ever used their paint, the first time I’ve ever painted on canvas or material of any kind, and the first time I’ve ever painted a shoe, and it was done freehand without any warning or planning, I’m pretty happy with the results. About 3.5 hours of work.

Now... to re-lace or not to re-lace? And since I didn't get out of bed yesterday morning thinking "today I think I'll make a Transformers shoe", I'm not terribly sure what to do with it. Sell it? keep it? Dunno.
