Just a warning... don't order Unicron from EB Games anymore, even though it is still listed and can be carted. They can't order any more stock from Hasbro and have been told to take down the Unicron listing, which could take a day to happen.

Hey all
Do people use EB gift cards to pay off Zing preorders?
More specifically, through work I realised I can get 8% off EB gift cards and I have $750 worth of Unicron at Zing to pay off.
Should I walk into Zing with $750 of EB gift cards?

I've used RACQ e-gift cards that gave 7% off ( now 4%) at EB and Zing more than a few times now. Most I've used is $150 though. Don't think they'll have a problem with you using them at all and they'll happily scan it from your phone.
My only suggestion would be maybe not pay it all off at once but that's just me.

According to Hasbro Australia, Unicron is expected to be released or be in-stores, in February 2021.
(sounds like they want it out before the New York Toyfair, to be a centrepiece for their Toyfair promotions, and help sell any unsold or cancelled orders - the timing shows why they were rushing the pre-order period and couldn't take orders for very long)
So as long as there aren't any delays, now you know what month of next year you need to budget for, if you haven't already set aside or paid off the total amount.
