Expected, but it's good that it seems to be bigger and not a clone.

It is going to be costly though. Expect a larger price tag than cheetor. Accessories will be interesting. I thought they might go with Ratrap next or maybe a Predacon. Interesting choice.

I was hoping for Silverbolt to compliment Black Arachnia, but I'll take any Beast Wars MPs I can get.

Awww...the fact they actually made a new mold puts this into Want territory, but super-long odds I'll have the funds for it when it comes out.

    From here...

As noted above, the retail price will be a whopping 24,000yen, which roughly converts to AU$330... for something that appears to use most of the engineering and upsized parts of Cheetor.
It's about 50% bigger, but 300% more expensive.
I just don't get what TakaraTomy are doing lately with their prices for MP toys. I think they see what people are willing to pay for those recent licensed non-convertible action-figures and statues (often $200-600), and believe that if they are happy to pay that much for those, they'll be happy to pay more for a transforming toy.

I'm going to pay it, but I'm certainly not happy about it.

I think that there will be many of this with the exact same thought.
